P.J. talking about his new record Accent the Change, "This record is something that I am proud of on a profound level. For starters, I’m proud that I completed it unknowing I was going to make a follow up. Songs kept coming to me and I’ve had plenty to write about. I’ve cut myself open on it and have painted pictures of some of the things that have evolved and transpired since " Boutique Soundframes" was written. There is a kind of theme and conscious pace to it that makes sense in sequence. Once again, it is a rock record but one that does not go 100mph.......and I’m ok with that."

"P.J. Farley is not only an amazing performer but an outstanding singer/songwriter. Throughout his career his talent has improved like a fine wine and is shown throughout his new release  'Accent the Change'." - Bill Chavis, President HighVolMusic.

P.J. found a love for playing music at age 6 when he started playing drums, At age 11 he picked up the bass and found a true passion. His professional career as a musician began at the age of 16 as the bass player for Trixter. Trixter signed its first major label record deal with MCA Records in 1989 and went on to sell well P.J. Farley over 1 million records with 3 #1 videos on MTV. Touring with bands like Kiss, Poison, Scorpions, and Warrant. P.J. has played every arena/theater/outdoor pavilion and club all over the world. In 2002 P.J. joined up with Active Rock chart toppers RA (Universal/Republic) in which he embarked on the 2nd chapter of his recording and touring career. Sneaking into the modern hard rock genre and touring with bands like Staind, Seether and Sevendust, P.J. was able to remain relevant and creative in the music business while Trixter took a 13 year hiatus.

In 2009 P.J. was asked to join up with Grammy nominated female artist Lita Ford and toured worldwide with her for almost 4 years. At that time Trixter had also reemerged to release 2 new studio records in 2012 and 2014. P.J. and Trixter would continue to tour the world once again. In 2016 P.J. released his first solo album ‘Boutique Sound Frames’ in which he wrote, produced and performed all instruments himself. In 2017 had P.J. join forces with Eric Martin of Mr. Big touring Japan and the US as well as being the backup band for Comedian Jim Breuer.

P.J. continued to tour around the world while recording his 2nd solo record, working with Detroit based engineer Chuck Alkazian and RA frontman Sahaj Ticotin who recently co-wrote songs with Nikki Sixx for The Dirt soundtrack as well as writing and producing Sevendust front-man Lajon Witherspoons debut solo CD. P.J. signed with HighVolMusic in February of 2020 for the release of his 2nd solo effort title ‘Accent the Change’.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

LEROI XIII RECRUIT MEMBERS OF THE METAL COMMUNITY TO COME TOGETHER TO RECORD BENEFIT
COVER OF DIO CLASSIC, “STAND UP AND SHOUT”

The list of metal classics that the late/great Ronnie James Dio was responsible for penning or co-penning is endless– “Man on the Silver Mountain,” “Heaven and Hell,” “Holy Diver,” “Rainbow in the Dark,” “The Last in Line,” etc.

And now, in honor of the man (who passed away in 2010 at the age of 67, from stomach cancer), several renowned names of the metal world have united to record a cover of “Stand Up and Shout” – which was originally the lead-off track from Dio’s classic solo debut from 1983, ‘Holy Diver.’

The song can be streamed at:
https://ps.onerpm.com/1723870634?_ga=2.132799306.515764173.1603224541-949075408.1599670280

The video can be viewed at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=az-UdUgB914

Produced by David Bendeth (who has previous worked with Of Mice And Men, Breaking Benjamin, and I Prevail, among countless others), the track features contributions from the newly-formed LeRoi XIII (Thirteen), which is comprised singer Terry LeRoi (Granny 4 Barrel), guitarists Troy McLawhorn (Evanescence) and Sammy Boller, bassist Aaron Pauley (Of Mice and Men), and drummer Will Hunt (Evanescence). The single will be released on Friday, October 30th, 2020, with 100% of the proceeds/profits from this song go to the Stand Up and Shout
Cancer Fund (for the mission of support, research, and education that furthers early detection, prevention, and treatment of prostate, colon, and stomach cancers).

“I am so pleased with this cover of ‘Stand Up and Shout,’ and I know Ronnie would be so honored.” – Wendy Dio

“This was an amazing and unforgettable experience working with these incredibly talented artists and legendary producer David Bendeth! It’s truly an honor to pay tribute to Ronnie James Dio and to have this opportunity to support Wendy and the Dio Cancer Fund.” -Terry LeRoi

“Working with this great crew of people, and paying homage to Ronnie James Dio, one of the greatest rock singers that ever lived, was an amazing experience...When you hear it, just stand up and shout! FUCK CANCER!” -David Bendeth

“I’ve been a fan of Dio for as long as I can remember. To play on this cover with such amazing musicians was a real honor.” -Sammy Boller

“‘Stand Up and Shout’ is such a timeless and more meaningful than ever classic metal masterpiece. We had a great time making this and knowing that it’s to support the Dio Cancer Fund made this whole experience even better” -Will Hunt

“When I was asked to join these great musicians to record a tribute to Dio with ‘Stand Up and Shout,’ I was honored and excited. When I found out the proceeds would go to this great cause, I was 100% in.” -Troy McLawhorn

When David Bendeth gives me a call to work together, I'm onboard. When that opportunity involves working with incredibly talented musicians like Terry, Troy, Will, and Sammy to recreate a metal classic—with all proceeds from the track going to the Dio Cancer Fund—it doesn't get much better than that!"  -Aaron Pauley

The band had a chance to connect with radio/TV personality Matt Pinfield here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipPa17g-Pxk

As fans will soon hear for themselves, new energy and passion has been infused into this song 30 years later, and Stand Up and Shout Board unanimously approved the song. Keeping true to the honor and memory of Ronnie James Dio, this song was recorded in the month of May 2020 - which was the month of his passing 10 years ago. And due to COVID-19, all of the events that were planned for the 10th year anniversary of Ronnie’s passing were unfortunately canceled. But through the determination and creativity of these musicians and producer of this song, it was still able to be recorded…despite the virus.

And one can’t overlook the timely nature of the song, and how thematically, it’s more relevant than ever - encouraging empowerment, finding inner strength, using your voice and having the courage to take charge of your destiny. Help keep Ronnie’s legacy, music, and memory alive – and support a great cause – by purchasing, streaming the “Stand Up and Shout” single by LeRoi XIII.

OVERKILL BASSIST DD VERNI’S THE BRONX CASKET CO. RETURNS ON FRIDAY THE 13TH OF NOVEMBER. DEKO ENTERTAINMENT WILL RELEASE “THE COMPLETE COLLECTION”, A 5 DISC BOX SET INCLUDING ALL 4 OF THE BANDS STUDIO RELEASES PLUS UNRELEASED BONUS MATERIAL.

DD states, “It’s Halloween and Friday the 13th all within a 2 week period...so must be time for a new Bronx Casket Co. release! “

The Bronx Casket Co. was founded by Overkill bassist and main songwriter DD Verni and released the self-titled “Bronx Caset Co.” on Massacre Records in 1999. It was followed up by “Sweet Home Transylvania” in 2001, “Hellectric” in 2005 and “Antihero” in 2011. The band is rounded out by guitarist Jack Frost (Savatage, Seven Witches, Lizzy Borden), keyboardist Charlie Calv (Angel, Shotgun Symphony), drummer Tim Mallare (Overkill, M.O.D.) on the first 3 releases and Rob Pallota (25 ta Life) on the later, and originally fronted by Myke Hideous (The Misfits, Empire Hideous) on the first 3 albums with DD taking over vocals full time on Antihero.

This release is completely re-mastered by Alan Douches (The Misfits, Mastodon, etc…) and includes a bonus disc of early demos, unreleased remixes, a cover of The Misfits classic “Ghouls Night Out”, and a brand newly recorded mash up of the classic Black Sabbath tracks “The Writ/Megalomania” entitled “Sabatage-d”.

DD continues, “I'm so psyched to have the whole catalog in one spot.  The four records were all so completely different yet part of the same idea, so seeing it all together is very cool.  A bonus disc with demos and extra tracks, as well as all kinds of collectibles makes it something really unique.  It was fun to get back with the guys to bang out the Black Sabbath Sabatage-d song too, felt almost like we never took a break.  I get asked all the time if there will ever be another full length album....hey ya never know. “

This is limited to 500 copies with 100 being set aside for a special Friday the 13th bundle with some ghoulish merch, and your own personalized death certificate signed by Bronx Casket Co. founder DD Verni.
